Another Restaurant Review, And A Damn Good Whiskey Of The Week
Inday’s, also known as Inday All Day, in the formerly-hip Williamsburg area of Brooklyn.
I like food, and what’s wrong with that? Not only does it taste really good, it also pairs well with alcoholic beverages. And of course it lays an all-important base if you happen to be drinking. So it was really just a matter of time before I started dipping a toe into food writing. And the toe has been dipped. A few months ago I wrote my first restaurant review for the good folks at Forbes, and here’s the second. Inday’s (as of this writing it’s called Inday All Day, but I’ve been assured the name change is imminent) is an offshoot of the Manhattan fast casual chain Inday — when Covid hit and there were no office workers buying their lunch in Midtown, FiDi and elsewhere, the owner came up with the idea of a proper sit-down place, with a more varied and interesting menu than what he was able to do at the other places. And of course they have excellent cocktails, too. Check out my writeup -> HERE <-.
I still write about booze too, of course, and my latest Whiskey Of The Week (also for Forbes, natch) is a good ‘un for sure. Take one of my favorite wheated bottled-in-bond bourbons, make it a tad younger, a lot cheaper, and a permanent part of the brand’s range rather than limited editions, and good things are sure to happen. What’s the brand? You’ll just have to click the link and find out! Right over -> HERE <-, if you will….
